E' uscito il nuovo video di Britneispiars. Ovviamente non frega niente a nessuno vederlo ma il Corriere me ne ha dato 2 clip ed è terribilmente simile a Ghost In The Shell. Quindi ecco il link. Procuratevi tutto di GITS perchè è favoloso. Masamune Shirow ha creato un must fatto manga ma quello che veramente è imperdibile è la sua versione anime. Abbiamo due adattamenti cinematografici: Ghost in the Shell e Innocence per la regia di Mamoru Oshii; due serie tv: Stand Alone Complex e S.A.C. 2nd GIG per la regia di Kenji Kamiyama; e uno special TV Solid State Society diretto ancora da Kenji Kamiyama. Sono in circolazione tre videogiochi e il manga, ovviamente.

La notte degli Oscar è come il Cristianesimo. C'è chi ci crede e c'è chi ha capito che non conta molto e presenta solo la realtà di pochi eletti. Ogni tanto però ci prende. Quest'anno i premi più importanti sono andati ai fratelli Coen per "Non è un paese per vecchi" e a Daniel Day-Lewis, come miglior attore, per "Il Petroliere". Giusta scelta.
Sarà un post impegnativo ^^ Fortunatamente Day-Lewis ha fatto pochi film (sebbene ogni film che ha fatto sia diventato oro). Se dovessi fare l'attore vorrei essere come lui. Anzi adesso mi metto a fare teatro galvanizzato e vado in pellegrinaggio in Piazza Santo Spirito a Firenze (dove ha lavorato come calzolaio... sticazzi direi).

Nuovo film di Woody Allen. Un dark thriller freddo e distaccato: ma non sempre è un male. Allen continua a fare film come regista dipingendo da fuori scorci di vite solo in apparenza normali. Il titolo originale è terribimente azzeccato, come al solito in Italia si deve cambiare il titolo e banalizzare tutto quanto. La trama vede coinvolti in un gioco di delitti e dolori due fratelli molto uniti interpretati dai bravissimi Ewan McGregor e Colin Farrell. Il film vola fino al finale quasi telefonato, ma questa telefonata non stona perchè la struttura intera del film è una tragedia perfetta. Allen dipinge una Londra incantevole e vera. Farrell è veramente il più grande in scena e mette in secondo piano la splendida recitazione di McGregor. Le musiche sono di Philip Glass: divine.

Non ha nulla a che fare con il futuro dell'Italia. Sta per uscire un film probabilmente brutto ma che penso sarà molto stiloso. E' tratto da una graphic novel di Steve Niles. La sua uscita è prevista in marzo.
La trama è semplicissima: in una città dell'Alaska ogni anno cadono 30 giorni di buio (molto Pitch Black). Un gruppo di vampiri ha deciso di farsi un tirone a forza di caffè per stare svegli e sangue per riempirsi come blatte.

Sempre per gli amanti dei vampiri consiglio "28 giorni dopo" di Boyle. Un film altamente estetico con la trama classica usata da tutti (Matheson sei un idolo). Del film di Boyle ne parlerò più avanti.
Heath Ledger, all'etè di 28 anni, ha lasciato questo mondo. Le vere motivazioni non sono conosciute ma una delle ipotesi è che il ruolo di Joker abbia preso il soppravvento sulla sua stabilità emotiva e che il ragazzo abbia deciso di farla finita. Che sia vero o meno è una perdita per il cinema americano. Ledger è andato dopo uno dei ruoli più ambiti nel mondo del cinema: il Joker di Batman o, per meglio dire, il Joker di Nicholson (perchè a mio avviso è stato lui a riscrivere il Joker). In ricordo di Ledger lancio una spinnata legata alla figura del pagliaccio nelle sue forme, includendo il trailer del nuovo Batman che lo vede come protagonista. Alla fine ho voluto includere un corto spettacolare dedicato al Cavaliere Oscuro.

Ci sono pochi album che possono entrare per merito nell'immortalità. Uno di questi è Passion di Peter Gabriel.
Può piacere o non piacere l'autore. Può piacere o non piacere la world music. Può piacere o non piacere il film di Martin Scorserse. Ma questa composizione è arte allo stato puro.
Comprate questo album. Tornerà fuori ogni tanto. E' immortale.
