Cassandra's Dreams

Nuovo film di Woody Allen. Un dark thriller freddo e distaccato: ma non sempre è un male.
Allen continua a fare film come regista dipingendo da fuori scorci di vite solo in apparenza normali.
Il titolo originale è terribimente azzeccato, come al solito in Italia si deve cambiare il titolo e
banalizzare tutto quanto.
La trama vede coinvolti in un gioco di delitti e dolori due fratelli molto uniti interpretati dai
bravissimi Ewan McGregor e Colin Farrell. Il film vola fino al finale quasi telefonato, ma
questa telefonata non stona perchè la struttura intera del film è una tragedia perfetta.
Allen dipinge una Londra incantevole e vera. Farrell è veramente il più grande in scena e mette in secondo piano
la splendida recitazione di McGregor.
Le musiche sono di Philip Glass: divine.

30 giorni di buio

Non ha nulla a che fare con il futuro dell'Italia.
Sta per uscire un film probabilmente brutto ma che penso sarà molto stiloso. E' tratto da una graphic novel di Steve Niles.
La sua uscita è prevista in marzo.


La trama è semplicissima: in una città dell'Alaska ogni anno cadono 30 giorni di buio (molto Pitch Black). Un gruppo di vampiri ha deciso di farsi un tirone a forza di caffè per stare svegli e sangue per riempirsi come blatte.

Ecco il trailer (bello) redband (senza censura e non adatto ai minori) e a seguire una scena.


Le musiche originali sono di Reitzell già noto (?) per essere il musico di tutti i film firmati dal Sofia Coppola (anche se sappiamo chè c'è il babbo (Dio) dietro).

Sempre per gli amanti dei vampiri consiglio "28 giorni dopo" di Boyle. Un film altamente estetico con la trama classica usata da tutti (Matheson sei un idolo).
Del film di Boyle ne parlerò più avanti.
